1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using BDALab, you agree to these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These terms apply to visitors, account holders, purchasers, and anyone who submits practice content, a DAT error report, or a human-review request.

2. Educational Practice Only

BDALab is an independent educational preparation platform. Current features may include CASPer scenario practice, complete CASPer exams, public preparation resources, CASPer progress, complete DAT exams, focused DAT drills, PAT visual exercises, DAT progress, MCAT practice, score estimates, AI-generated feedback, and membership-included human review. Materials and estimates are original practice tools, not official questions, official scoring, equated scores, or predictions. The BDALab Guarantee described in Section 10 is a conditional access-extension offer, not a promise of an official score. BDALab does not guarantee admission, interviews, test results, a CASPer quartile, a DAT or MCAT score, or any academic or career outcome.

3. No Affiliation

BDALab is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or approved by CASPer, Acuity Insights, Altus Assessments, the American Dental Association, the Dental Admission Test program, the AAMC, any admissions office, university, professional school, test administrator, or application service. All third-party trademarks belong to their respective owners.

4. Accounts and Security

You are responsible for accurate account information, protecting your login credentials and device, and all activity under your account. You may not share paid access, resell an account, impersonate another person, bypass access controls, or use automated scraping, abuse, or attack methods. We may restrict or terminate access when we reasonably believe these terms, security requirements, or applicable law have been violated.

5. AI Feedback

AI feedback is generated automatically and may be incomplete, inaccurate, inconsistent, delayed, or unavailable. Spoken-response feedback may be based on analysis text generated from your response rather than a human listening to the recording. You must evaluate all feedback critically and remain responsible for your study, application, and professional decisions.

6. Human Review

Human review is educational feedback, not official scoring. An active member may have no more than one human-review request in progress and may submit no more than one request in each rolling seven-day period. Any reference to review within 24 hours is a good-faith target, not a guarantee. Turnaround can be affected by submission quality, technical problems, reviewer availability, demand, holidays, emergencies, outages, or circumstances outside BDALab's control.

7. Memberships and Access

Memberships are one-time purchases for the duration shown at checkout and do not automatically renew. Access begins after successful payment confirmation and ends on the displayed expiry date. While active, a membership provides access to available BDALab preparation products and features, including human review subject to its limits and reasonable fair-use, technical, security, maintenance, and anti-abuse controls. Products released while the membership is active may be included. We may improve, replace, pause, or discontinue features, content, questions, exams, guides, or pricing.

8. Payments and Taxes

Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices, currency, plan duration, promotions, and any comparison prices are shown before checkout and may change for future purchases. You authorize the selected one-time charge and are responsible for applicable taxes, accurate payment information, bank fees, and currency-conversion charges. A completed checkout may be fulfilled through Stripe's signed webhook and checkout-verification processes.

9. DAT Error Reports and Store Credit

Signed-in users may report suspected DAT question errors. BDALab decides whether a report is confirmed. Each confirmed report currently creates one $5 USD store credit for the reporting account. Available credit is automatically applied to an eligible future membership checkout, one credit at a time. Credit is promotional, account-specific, non-transferable, not redeemable for cash, and has no value outside BDALab. Duplicate, abusive, misleading, or bad-faith reports may be rejected and may result in loss of reporting privileges or account action.

10. Refunds, Chargebacks, and the BDALab Guarantee

Except where required by applicable law, purchases are final and non-refundable after access is provided. The BDALab Guarantee is a conditional offer of additional access, not a score promise, cash refund, store credit, or reimbursement. It applies to 1-month, 3-month, and 6-month memberships purchased on or after June 13, 2026. Before taking the relevant official exam, the purchaser must personally complete all 10 full-length BDALab exams for at least one exam track while signed into the purchasing account and meet that track's practice target on at least 5 of those 10 exams: (a) a 4th-quartile-style result for CASPer; (b) an estimated Academic Average of at least 440 for DAT; or (c) an estimated total score of at least 515 for MCAT. The purchaser must take the corresponding official exam while the qualifying membership is active or within 30 calendar days after it expires. If the official result is below the applicable target of 4th quartile for CASPer, 440 Academic Average for the United States DAT, or 515 total for MCAT, the purchaser must submit a readable official score report showing the result, official test date, and matching identity, together with the purchasing account email, within 14 calendar days after the result is released. An approved claim extends the same account once for the same duration as the original qualifying plan, beginning when BDALab applies the extension. A qualifying purchase can receive no more than one guarantee extension in total, even if the purchaser qualifies through or falls below the official target in more than one exam track. The extension has no cash value and cannot be transferred, paused, exchanged, or combined with another guarantee extension, refund, or chargeback. The guarantee does not apply to free access, cancelled, invalidated, withheld, unofficial or misconduct-affected results. BDALab may verify account activity, completion, timestamps, practice estimates, documents, identity, and payment status, and may deny incomplete, altered, duplicated, automated, shared-account, abusive, or fraudulent claims. Claimants must send the required information by direct message to @bdalab.ai on Instagram. Store credit is not refundable or exchangeable for cash. Billing errors should be reported promptly. Fraudulent or abusive chargebacks may result in suspension or termination without limiting rights that cannot legally be waived.

11. User Content and Recordings

You remain responsible for your answers, notes, reports, recordings, and other submitted content. You grant BDALab a limited permission to process, store, display, analyze, transmit, and share that content as reasonably needed to provide AI feedback, human review, history, progress, support, security, and service improvement. Instant-practice video is designed to remain in your browser, but confirmed human-review videos are uploaded for the reviewer. Do not submit unlawful content, identifying patient information, confidential third-party information, or sensitive material you do not have the right to share.

12. Browser-Stored Progress

In-progress CASPer and DAT exam resumes, signed-out DAT history, local video, language settings, and similar information may be stored only in your browser or device. BDALab does not guarantee that browser-stored information will sync across devices or survive private browsing, browser cleanup, storage limits, software changes, or device loss.

13. Acceptable Use

You may not scrape, reproduce, publish, sell, sublicense, reverse engineer, or copy substantial portions of BDALab; overload or interfere with systems; attempt unauthorized access; evade usage limits; submit harmful code; harass reviewers or users; use the service illegally; or use outputs to misrepresent your abilities, credentials, identity, or authorship.

14. Intellectual Property

BDALab's design, software, scenarios, CASPer and DAT-style questions, PAT visuals, passages, explanations, feedback formats, guides, branding, and other content are owned by BDALab or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property law. Subject to these terms, you receive a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, and non-transferable license to use the service for your own preparation.

15. Third-Party Services

BDALab relies on third parties for functions such as payments, hosting, databases, authentication, email, analytics, AI processing, and infrastructure. Their services may be unavailable or governed by their own terms and privacy practices. BDALab is not responsible for third-party acts, omissions, outages, fees, or data practices to the extent responsibility may lawfully be excluded.

16. Disclaimers

BDALab is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, BDALab disclaims express and implied warranties, including accuracy, reliability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, availability, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. Practice timing, formats, scoring estimates, and content may differ from an official examination.

17. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BDALab and its founder, owners, reviewers, contractors, providers, and affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, exemplary, or lost-profit damages, or for admissions or exam outcomes, delayed reviews, lost browser data, lost opportunities, emotional distress, or reliance on feedback. Where liability cannot be excluded, aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid BDALab for the service giving rise to the claim during the three months before the event.

18. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless BDALab and its founder, owners, reviewers, contractors, and providers from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and reasonable expenses arising from your misuse of the service, submitted content, violation of these terms, fraudulent payment dispute, or violation of another person's rights.

19. Changes, Suspension, and Severability

We may update these terms and may change, suspend, or terminate the service or an account when reasonably necessary for legal, security, operational, business, or abuse-prevention reasons. Material changes apply prospectively to the extent required by law. If a provision is unenforceable, it will be interpreted as closely as lawful to its intended effect and the remaining provisions will continue.
